Our first story from Afghanistan, “Courage, Education & Hope,” will be available online at the University of British Columbia’s Trek Magazine: The story features Lauryn Oates, projects director for Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan. The article articulates Oates’ position that literacy to key to helping Afghanistan achieve permanent stability and security, gender equality and rule of law.
